Uncle mick,
Today we say goodbye but I know your presence will always stay with me. To me, you wasn’t just an uncle, you was someone I looked up to, someone who always had time for me, and someone who could always make me laugh. Always putting other people before yourself and that never went unnoticed.

I have so many great memories together with you.

From my first night out on a Thursday night in bar europa with you at the age of 15. to my first day of work experience at Loughborough college. To our nights out at the dog racing and your support while watching me play football.

You have always given great advice with a cheeky smile on your face as your giving it. The advice you gave my son not so long ago was,to get glasses for school.
You then opened up your glasses case which was full of sweets and chocolate that you was hiding from the doctors and told him the teachers would never find them if these doctors can’t.

You laugh was infectious and Your approach to life was never to serious and I hope we can all remember to live life with a smile and have a cheeky personality the way you lived yours.

I’ve been so proud to call you my uncle.

Love James

My beloved grandad sadly passed away, aged 71. He wasn’t just my grandad, he was like my dad and my best friend, always my biggest supporter, cheering me on. He lit up every room with his smile and filled it with laughter through his silly jokes. I feel so lucky to have so many beautiful memories to hold onto. You have taken a piece of my heart, and I will love and miss you always. ❤️
